When Adam Hay was prompted to enter the NZ Timber Design Awards with a submission showcasing the use of materials (including TimberSpan) in the new bbi warehouse, he was it needed to be in the following day! A month later, Adam learned that the entry had been shortlisted as one of six finalists for the Hybrid Building Category – an amazing achievement for TimberSpan.
The bbi warehouse is a first for mass timber in New Zealand and a showcase for what can be achieved with sustainable LVL and mass timber engineering.
